Lee wrestled locally at St. Francis DeSales (2010-2011) and Hilliard Davidson (2012-2013) for Dennis Lybarger and Dominic Disabato respectively. He was a two time state qualifier in high school. Lee then wrestled at Notre Dame College from 2013-2015. Recently, Lee coached at Hilliard Davidson from 2020-2023.
